I liked A2 bridge & A5 neck.

I like that it has the matching headstock color, my custom 24 has a maple colored headstock on a charcoal body. I wish it had a matching colored headstock or at least a darker color, like the could of stained the headstock a darker color.

I've seen many posts and videos regarding SE's muddy sound. I noticed that the volume pot may be the reason for the problem. When it is on max, it will output an already overdriven sound, which causes the muddiness on distortion. Turn it to 6 or 7, and it should be fine.

I recently got an SE and I'm not satisfied with its tone, mainly in heavy distortion. Not sure if it's thanks to the pickups or some other compromised electronic parts. I got them higher, way closer to the strings, but it still sounds like there is a cheap mixer in the route. Do you feel a significant difference after the replacement? Will the humbucker/single split still work for any replacement?

Hi, glad I ran across your channel and website. Great information and products. I have a request- could you do a video about pickup height? With so much attention given to pickup technology it seems to me that pickup installation and adjustment seems to get almost completely ignored yet have a huge impact on tone. For all of my guitar life I have just been adjusting pickup height by ear and trying to find a sweet spot but really not knowing how to best achieve the holy grail setup for my Les Paul and Strat. I would love to hear your take on it.

Fancy playing doesnt really help me find the pickup I want, neither does fancy gear. What I eould really like to see pickup companies do in their videos is (1) Use regular guitars not expensive stuff that only tock stars collect. Like a $500 strat or les paul. Cos folks are familiar eith these guitars and can tell the difference easily. (2) Use a good clean amp 1x12 or close, something like a Fender Princeton or a Deluxe. Sure these are a little pricey but if you went with a cheap amp it wouldnt reproduce the entire tone clearly. (3) Amp tone controls at 12 o'clock, no breakup, a little reverb if upu really must, gutar tone and volume controls maxed out. (4) Play scales. Single notes, not too fast. Hold some notes long enough so they die off naturally. Then play some chords but dont start strumming put a song. Play a chord snd hold it. Then play another. Let us hear the different frequencies ringing out and fading away. (5) then do the gainy stiff, killer riffs, whatever you got. This is just fun to watch but i I understand some people need to feel inspired before parting with their money. Thats just my opinion and maybe Im weird i dunno. I watch maybe 10 to 20 videos to get a vague idea of what a certain pickup sounds like. And even after that I could be wrong and still buy a pickup that isnt what Im after.

I have the perfect answer that ironically doesn't take much work on your part. Record your pickups into a DI, and let your customers demo these raw tracks into their own gear through reamping. If you do that, and partner with RUclipsrs who can demo these tracks of your pickups into various gear everyone will know how your pickups sound. I honestly don't know why no one has thought of this before. So simple.

Also, di you think is the "wax" that make pickups sound all that deadened? I think its not a matter of wax but the "heat" that wax needs to get stuck on the copper wire. I mean copper gets changed - in its own molecular structure - if you cook it by such a high temperature the wax require to melt
